Eating nicely cooked escalopes, schnitzels and roti is what many visitors advise. Most users mention that the staff is creative. The spectacular service demonstrates a high level of quality at this restaurant. You will definitely like the homey atmosphere. But a number of guests who use Google didn't grant Restaurant La Renaissance a high rating.

I had a great early dinner between normal meal service. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. We ordered the Salade Thon, Soupe de Poussin, Gratin Fruits de Mer, and Gratin de crevette. All the seafood was notably fresh. A huge bread basket accompanied by hmiss (roasted peppers and tomatoes in oil). The soupe was flavorful served with croutons was a large bowl which we shared. Thon salade was great and plated beautifully. I had to get their tarte citron which was made in house and a perfect mix of sweet and tart. The restrooms were the best I have seen in two trips to Algeria. Price per person: DZD 1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was really disappointed with my visit here. The chips were raw in the middle, and the swordfish was so bland it was like eating solid oily air grilled, yet somehow managing to have no smoky or charred flavour at all. The menu had almost no variety: just some kind of meat with rice or chips, and both sides were bad. The rice was mushy, and the green beans (served with every meal, unfortunately) were also mushy and tasteless. The service didn’t help no greeting when I walked in, and it took a long time for anyone to take my order. The crème brûlée I ordered was burnt and had odd bits in it, making it unpleasant to eat. Overall: poor food, poor service, and no reason to come back. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
