What a gem this is! The hotel is hidden in the woods where you can enjoy beautiful walks, the rooms are tastefully decorated with a nice rain shower. Wonderful beds with a nice topper and good pillows and a quiet environment. The breakfast is well prepared and more than sufficient; If you are walking, we can highly recommend the packed lunches. The food in the restaurant located in the hotel was a real treat, from the starter to the dessert everything was delicious, good taste sensations, beautifully placed. The staff is also very nice, thinks along and is happy to go the extra mile. We were pleasantly surprised and regretted that our overnight stay only consisted of 1 night. Had a delicious meal with a group of family members. The menu is limited, but the service is therefore fast and all dishes are of excellent quality. Sufficient vegetarian options and gluten- and lactose-free guests were also well catered for. We used to come here with family, but the new owners have 'refreshed' the place very well. Space, air and light have been created in the store and the menu is also more modern. Excellent choice of non-alcoholic and wine by the glass. Highly recommended in Hoog Soeren! Thanks for this great review Jaap! The same family still runs the business (since 1966), just the next generation. Mrs. Piek is still alive (almost 90) and still comes to the restaurant every day. See you next time!

We were here via the Steps & Happens package, highly recommended. We received a warm and hospitable welcome and enjoyed the pastries and tea and coffee. After the walk through the beautiful surroundings we received a portion of delicious bitterballen. I would definitely come back here! Service: 5 Location: 5
