First, I think that the biggest issue is that the price of a meal here is well above what sites suggest and the quality did not wow us. The waiter suggested 4-6 menu items per couple (since portions are very small). Together with any wine/drinks, deserts and tax/tip, it is easily over $100 per person. That is not considering their caviar options, some of which could be $200 with tax/tip alone - we did not have caviar... The Frisee salad was very unremarkable. I have had plenty of salads at other restaurants that were much better and bigger. I enjoyed it but it felt like I could have put the ingredients together for $2 and the toppings were very sparse and hardly noticeable. The swordfish ($42) was well prepared but small and not the best I have tasted. They say it comes with edamame but there were just about 10 beans on the dish. Other than that, it is just a small piece of swordfish with a few other sparse ingredients. The lasagna was good but also small and not exceptional. I have been to many restaurants where the food is better and the price 30% lower with bigger portions or a bit of a side with the main (not 10 beans). We left wishing that we went to one of our favorite restaurants but we learned a lesson... Service was very good and the atmosphere was just okay. There is no parking in front so you have to find street parking which can be tough when there are events in the area. Also, their options do not cater well to people with dietary preferences/restrictions. When you eat at a restaurant that costs over $100/per person (which we did not expect because of the tiny portions), you hope to be wowed with everything and Progress disappointed in several ways. Dietary restrictions: Very poor vegan options. Limited menu, with few options that can cater to dairy or gluten restrictions. Parking: Street parking since the parking lot has just a couple of spaces for dinner parking Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Free street parking
