Last minute walk-in and they accommodated. Very lovely staff, just nice people. Our waitress, Tasnim was great and kindly helped us decide on food choices due to major food delimmas! All courses were really good, my favourite was the pork belly entree which was just perfect. Recommend the soup of the day also which was roasted vegetable, full of flavour and just good. Overall great experience. Wonderful hotel with a restaurant right at the harbor. What luck! The employees are all very friendly and attentive. Breakfast started well, even with fresh, gently squeezed juice and much more. I was even able to enjoy a soy flat white as a vegan. For dinner, the menu includes delicious potato gnocchi and roasted broccolini. Both were delicious. For dessert, watermelon & strawberry rose sorbet with rhubarbara, Turkish delight, pomegranate & pistachio float is currently available. Whether as a hotel guest or just because, the trip here is definitely worth it. Vegetarian options: 2 vegan side dishes, 1 vegan main course and 1 vegan dessert. This is by far the best restaurant experience we had in all of Hobart!! Jessie, our server, was so kind and had good recommendations!! Hubby said it was the best steak he has ever had. I had the entree size pork belly which was very generous in size and tasted lovely!! That jus was 10/10 good!! Made the meal delish! My dessert was a favourite on the menu and I could see why!! The watermelon, strawberry and Rose sorbet was the best sorbet I've ever had. The texture of the thin candy floss made the experience exciting and different. I was all for it!! Sweet and enjoyable. Hubby enjoyed his chocolate/hazelnut slice. All in all a fantastic and yummy dinner date and well priced. Thank you again Tasman Restaurant and our lovely server Jessie. We had a great time!
