Had the char koay teow here-ordered the big portion with fried egg (RM12.50). Came with 3 big prawns, though my friend got lucky with 3.5 prawns! Overall, the taste leaned on the over-spicy side. We also tried the siew pow, and this was really impressive: thin, crispy skin with a warm, flavorful filling -highly recommended. Service here is always good-the staff at the drinks counter go the extra mile, helping customers find seats, arranging shared seating when it's crowded. Parking, as usual, is a challenge in this area. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 1–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

During peak lunchtimes it may not be easy to find a table or a vacant car park. We enjoy coming here due to the variety of food, the portions and how airy is the shop. The duck thigh noodle soup is quite a favourite here and sells out early but my own personal favourite is the char koay teow and mee jawa (fried) and my family enjoys the tomyam noodles and mee jawa (wet). The tea and coffee are also quite decent. Overall it's a nice kopitiam but finding parking spaces can be a headache.
