The Restaurant Zur Waldpforte in Käfertal is a real insider tip! Nestled in an idyllic location on the edge of the forest, the restaurant offers a wonderful combination of excellent cuisine and a cozy ambience. The food was absolutely first class - traditional German dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. The game dish in particular was a highlight, tender and tasty. The portions were generous and the value for money is unbeatable. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and you can feel that real hospitality is still practiced here. The beer garden is a nice place to end the day, especially at this time of year. Overall, a perfect place for a relaxed meal with family or friends. I can only warmly recommend the Restaurant Zur Waldpforte and am already looking forward to my next visit!
