We recently got married at The Granary and planned it all within a month or so. Katie was exceptional in helping us plan our perfect day in light of the current circumstances. She showed us she truly cared and nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding day was amazing, the food was gorgeous and such huge portions too! Thank you so much!

Visited this hotel a couple of months ago and the room was abit messy and rubbish still in the bins from the previous stay. The worst part was there was still smears of human waste across the toilet basin. We raised a complaint and the hotel didn’t believe us which I’m very angry about, next time I’ll take pictures and post on here maybe? The complaint took over a month to resolve, only as I sent about 4/5 chaser emails. So good luck if you have a complaint as they won’t believe you!

Good Morning, many thanks for your review. I have passed your review onto management. When you stopped with us on 7th September 2020 you did not complain or raise an issue during your stay. An email of complaint was sent in a day after your stay, it is hard to inspect an issue like you raised after the room has been used. Of course as soon as your email came through to us we replied and told you we would investigate. This was done and housekeepers confirmed the room was cleaned before. As I have stated it is very hard to inspect a room which was reported dirty a day after. We take all complaints very seriously and our cleanliness of rooms are vital to us especially during these challenging times. We did offer 25% off your next visit to us which you declined.

After 6 years of having our Christmas party's in the restaurant at the Granary, we shall never be returning! The service was appalling. We waited for 1hr 20mins for the starters which were not as stated on the menu. No complimentary bread and oil offered. Tables not dressed for Christmas. We preordered the meals to make sure that they did not run out of any choices. We were not asked how we wanted our fillet steaks cooked. They were bought out cremated, no vegetables either. Tracy the manager tried to deal with the complaint offering to bring out other steaks which took ages. We had gone past the point of eating. No attempt was made to really deal with the issue apart from giving us a refund. Staff were rude and unattentive. Absolutely gutted. We will never return. Scott & Ollie who left were amazing and looked after us. Would never recommend the Granary after tonight!
