Be careful, I'm going to write a comment that isn't great... For Valentine's Day, my husband reserved the restaurant for a Friday evening so that we could enjoy a romantic moment. We are told to come to the restaurant before 8:30 p.m. because it is their last service, so far so good. Things get complicated when we arrive and the waiter assigned to our table is a young apprentice or at least appears to be a young apprentice. The young man does not present us with any dishes, half throws the plates on the table to immediately run away and was unable to tell us what was in the products served when we asked him the question. We don't eat pork, and we asked for example if the terrines contained any. After a long moment of hesitation, he told us no, so we decided to consume with confidence, except that it turned out that in discussing with other colleagues of his there were indeed some. Fortunately for him we are not allergic to pork but in my eyes this is a really serious mistake. Second fault, he did not tell us that there was a charge for cheese consumption, we found out when paying (9€ / person) And finally he couldn't show us any cheese because he didn't remember In the end he didn't even say goodbye or thank us. It's really a shame... I can understand that the learning process is complicated or that the service is tiring but I work in sales myself and before saying stupid things to the customer I ask my colleagues for information. Other than that the meal was delicious and the person who cashed us, I think the manager, was very friendly. We had really elaborate and very good dishes, especially the starters, which were nuggets, which raised the final score a little. I will go back yes but by asking for someone else from the service And as Cyril Attrazic says, customers like to experience a moment of singularity and this is what was missing in our experience at the Hôtel de France.
