We had a good stay at Hotel Puerta de Bilbao. The family room was spacious, but the sofa bed for our children, aged 10 and 12, was hardly big enough. The breakfast was okay, and the hotel is nice overall. One thing that could be improved is the pool area. Some of the sun loungers were already reserved with towels before 10 a.m., making them unavailable for other guests. A clearer policy on reserving pool chairs would make the experience fairer for everyone. Dinner at the restaurant is good and enjoyable! The bathroom layout could be improved. The toilet and bidet are placed very close together, with little space next to the washbasin. The toilet paper dispenser is also not very practical to use. Overall, it’s a nice hotel, and we enjoyed our stay.
