A local "kafana" (bistro/restaurant in Macedonian) with a charming and witty owner / server. Food is good, recommend the salad with feta cheese. I ate the chicken breast with fries, it was good. Fair prices for the same dishes compared to rest of Ohrid. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: MKD 600–800

Restaurant Grosh just wasn't the right fit for us. It's located on a busy road with constant traffic, so it lacks the relaxed atmosphere you get at the lakeside restaurants. The service was friendly and welcoming, but the food was underwhelming and the wine wasn't particularly good. While the prices are a little lower than the restaurants on the waterfront, we didn't feel the savings were enough to compensate for the less enjoyable location and overall dining experience.
