Sometimes it is best to leave a memory like it is. It's an old style Chinese Food that we used to eat with Opa and Oma, and upon feeling nostalgic, we decide to rekindle the memory and take the foods from Eka Jaya again.

Boy, time has passed for sure. The taste is average at its best and the portion is a letdown.

In all fairness we order the small portion, nonetheless it's a decision made based on their advice that small portion is good for 3-4 persons. Not sure that we have the same idea of what kind of persons they are reffering to, but looking at the portion, we're pretty sure it's more suitable for 2 persons (or 3 max).

We order crystal prawn, babi kuluyuk, fuyung hai and ayam nanking. The babi kuluyuk actually tastes ok, but the portion is a total joke. Fuyung hai and ayam nan king are a bit off. They don't taste bad per se, but they don't taste like the ones you normally find in old style Chinese Food restaurants.

What we like most is the crystal prawn. The prawns are fresh and tasty but not overwhelmingly salty (like some cases with crystal prawn).

We always order fuyung hai, ayam nanking and babi kuluyuk in old style Chinese Food restaurant as a simple test. If they cannot make them right, we won't eat the other foods.

All in all we might come here again only for the nostalgic feeling, but otherwise we will pass for other restaurants.

My family’s current new favourite Chinese restaurant. It is nearby too. The food here is tasty and the menu has a good variety. It can get a little salty so do request for less salt especially if you are eating without rice. The lindung cah funak is our favourite dish, with the veggies stirfried well and not soft but still crisp. It is also well priced as portion is good and not small. A cozy restaurant for a cozy meal.

My family loves the food from this restaurant. We usually ordering food via phone call and they will deliver to our home.
Favorite food: lindung cah fumak, soup ikan gurame, yipiao, mun tahu.
Yesterday I visited this restaurant, ordered food for two: mapo tahu (was okay) and kailan cah sapi (really delicious).
Service is good. Nice for casual dinner.
