The place isn’t fancy but don’t let that fool you. The food at Rethemnos is nothing short of incredible. If you’re craving authentic Cretan cuisine outside of Crete, this is the spot. Every dish bursts with flavor—I genuinely wished I had a second stomach to keep going! Don’t miss the staka (fried eggs in butter), the gamopilafo (an absolute delight), very tasty sheep chops and homemade vine leaves stuffed with rice and zucchini flowers.Visit Rethemnos when you get the chance.
