Report incorrect information
I had the usual mixed plate (Liver-Hearts-Kidney) with tomatoes and onions plus Ash (Iranian word for Daal or Lentil).
The food is delicious, nothing much goes on the plate to complicate things. The meats are sauteed 1st, tomatoes added toward the end of cooking just enough to heat them up. Some spices are lightly added to flavor the plate, yet you can taste and identify the components individually (meats are fresh, so why hide that nice flavor?).
The lentil dish is more like different kinds of lentil cooked at different temperatures to give you different textures and taste. The dishes come with 2 Iranian bread and some onions, chili and olives. Don't leave the restaurant without giving their tea a try & I'm sure 1 cup is not enough, otherwise you won't be able to drive on the road :)
I would agree that the place decor is just normal, but the food snd the experience were superb.
The place looks terrible but the food is good. The quality is very high comparing to the price you have. Kind of a hidden gem here.
Recommended dish: Fish fried w/ rice.
