The Good: Ambiance and Decor. Stunning Atmosphere: The physical venue is gorgeous, featuring upscale decor and an amazing vibe that immediately sets a high-end mood for special occasions. Support for Minority-Owned Businesses: As a strong advocate for supporting minority-owned and underrated establishments, the visual presentation initially promised a top-tier experience. The Bad: Service, Pricing, and Management. Delayed Seating: Despite a 7:00 PM reservation for a party of 20, the room was not prepared upon arrival, leading to an unnecessary wait before being shuffled into the VIP room between 7:30 and 7:45 PM. Incompetent Server: Our assigned waiter lacked basic comprehension skills; orders were consistently confused, instructions had to be repeated multiple times, and drinks had to be sent back just to be made correctly. Overcharging and Unhonored Specials: A major billing discrepancy occurred when the birthday guest ordered a 10 oz steak priced at $45, but received a 4 oz steak while still being charged the full $45. Unprofessional Leadership: Rather than overseeing operations and resolving issues, the General Manager (who introduced herself as "Special") was seen sitting at the bar enjoying cocktails and hookah. When approached, she demonstrated disrespectful behavior, spoke tastelessly to guests, and outright refused to rectify the billing error regarding the steak. Final Verdict. RHAY'S succeeds in creating a visually stunning environment, but a beautiful room cannot make up for deeply flawed service, poor staff training, and an unprofessional management team. When a business charges upscale prices, customers rightfully expect upscale accountability and service. Unfortunately, until leadership prioritizes customer satisfaction and basic courtesy, this establishment fails to deliver a quality experience. First impression was horrible ! I reserved a table for my birthday was on time when I walked in no host no one greeted us some man told us go to the bar n get help wait 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge us n then asked me how many people after I told her I had a reservation ! Waited another 30 minutes to ask us did we want drinks still didn’t take our drink order I asked for food she told me the kitchen was closed at 11 mind you I been waiting since 10 ! I invited my family out n this was a horrible birthday experience for me I only reserved because the place looks upscale and the live band ended up leaving to find another place ! No one should experience service like that on their birthday 0/10 not recommended! Service: 1
