Rice & Noodle House has quickly become our family favourite restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is great. Food usually arrives in around 5 minutes depending on how full the restaurant is and water is also free. The quality is also consistent. I usually order Sweet & Sour pork with rice or pork fried noodles and have not been disappointed once. The portion you get for the price, in comparison to most restaurants is great as well. The restaurant itself, is small but has a decent amount of room for a few families as well as some outside seating. Can definitely recommend them. Don't come here! ! ! It's not authentic Chinese food at all. 1/A restaurant doesn’t have Wifi or even a toilet. The nearest restroom is in the park 5 minutes away. Let me ask, if I want to wash my hands before eating, where can I wash them? No WiFi and not even a TOILET. I am wondering how can the guests wash hands before eating. The closest toilet is 5 mins away? ? 2/ As a Chinese, I have to say the food is NOT authentic at all. So if you are not Chinese and you wanna try Chinese food, maybe try somewhere else! ! ! I ordered a dry pot cauliflower. This is the first time I have seen dry-pot cauliflower that has no pot, is very oily, and is not “dry” at all. Just call it stir-fried cauliflower with pork belly. Why call it dry pot cauliflower? The beef noodles were not tasty either. . . Someone previously left a message saying that beef noodles are delicious. Isn’t it really an advertisement from a merchant? 3/ It's a little pricey... That's fine since it's the central town area. But the food itself doesn't match the price.... The price is on the high side...if you want to eat Chinese food, there are other better choices... Overall, just don't come here. Let me explain here, 1/I am a native Chinese. After living in China for more than 20 years, this is the first time I have seen such dry-pot cauliflower. I am a native Chinese guy, born in China, grew up in China. Not from South- East Asia. 2/I don’t have any discomfort at all because of the 2% handling fee. After all, this is normal. The first thing that bothered me was that a restaurant didn't have Wi-Fi. That was fine. But there is no place to wash your hands, which I absolutely cannot accept. 3/Many of this store’s positive reviews on Google and Xiaohongshu come from brushstrokes. This is quite common in the restaurant industry. Businesses need not deny this. But if it is to induce and defraud consumers, the problem will be serious. In addition, after the customer pointed out the problem, the merchant did not humbly accept the accusation. Instead, he refuted it one by one and even questioned whether I was Chinese. I don't think you and your friends are authentic Chinese. You may be from Southeast Asia and have never lived in China. $51 for two dishes is a normal price in New Zealand. The conditions of the small place are limited. The toilets are at the super loo on the right opposite the park, and it only takes 2 minutes to walk there. Dry-pot cauliflower does not have to be served in a pot to be called dry-pot cauliflower. Beef noodles are the best seller in our store, which may not meet your taste.
