Meals at Rick Bake
Nestled in the city of Fuji, Rick Bake is located on Yonenomiyacho and specializes in dessert cuisines, particularly bagels. Despite having a minimal online presence, with only a basic profile on Google, this establishment has carved out a niche for itself among local bagel enthusiasts. Offering curbside pickup, in-store shopping, and takeout, it provides flexible service options while keeping accessibility in mind with a wheelchair-accessible entrance.

The reviews from past visitors strongly express personal tastes, with some loving the unique chewiness and wide variety of bagels, muffins, and scones, while others found some textures less appealing. Although it does not accept every payment method, customers can conveniently pay using several options ranging from digital wallets like NFC mobile payments to debit cards. Guests appreciate the opportunity to order frozen items for enjoyment at home or as a thoughtful gift.

Rick Bake's operating hours accommodate both early risers and late afternoon visitors, opening from 10:00 to 16:00 on weekdays and extending until 17:00 on Saturdays. Notably, there's no dine-in option, so planning for a quick visit or take-out is key. However, existing information about the shop is notably outdated, with the last recorded customer feedback occurring three years ago. Hence, while often praised for friendly service and flavorful offerings like coffee, those interested should check for updated insights as recent developments remain unclear.

It didn't have the chewy part that is unique to bagels, and I couldn't bite through the skin, so I felt like I was eating plastic. I was looking forward to it, but I'm sorry.

Even if we use a recipe similar to that of other restaurants, it does not differentiate us, and most of our customers are locals. Something like a real bagel isn't always acceptable. Here in Shizuoka, many people come from small children to the elderly. It's a matter of the owner's own taste, but existing bagels tend to harden over time, so we aim for a dough with a strong moist texture that is fermented for a long time. For scones, we use fresh cream instead of butter or eggs, aiming for a fluffy and moist texture that does not harden due to temperature changes. The scones that split your belly are delicious, but we don't sell them in stores because they aren't the needs of our customers. Bagels and scones do not contain any additives to maintain their quality, so they harden over time. The texture changes depending on how you warm it up and how you eat it. For that reason, we distribute leaflets on how to eat deliciously at the store. We differentiate our products with a different manufacturing method from other stores, so we inform you about the characteristics of our products on SNS every day. Because the appeal and individuality of the product did not reach qp's ears properly, he misunderstood it as a texture similar to that of another store, and was disappointed. I feel like I'm going to have to explain it for a long time. I'm sorry. By the way, is there any vinyl that can be eaten either way? For future reference, where do you sell it and how can you eat it? teach me please. I've never eaten vinyl before, so I'm curious as to what it's like. I would like to use it as a reference for my future studies, so please let me know in detail.More

This is my favorite bagel shop (^^) It's so chewy that it's difficult to take it out of the bag! I cheat on other bagels and regret it and always come back here. It does not contain any unnecessary things such as preservatives. There are a lot of varieties, they have unexpected ingredients, and they are delicious... I think it's cheap if it has this volume. You can order frozen food even if you are far away, and you can definitely place an order for what you want. It would also make a nice little souvenir for a friend (^^)
