I don’t normally write reviews, butI’m not gonna lie, I’m a little disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try this place forever because I always drive by and it’s so beautiful. We went there last night for my birthday dinner and didn’t have the greatest experience. I have a one year-old and we made the reservation specifically at 6:15 so that we would be able to be home in enough time for bedtime and Not be there So long that my daughter comes undone, well that’s what happened. It took two hours just for us to get our entrée and by then it was already 8 o’clock, and my daughter was losing her mind. We had to rush through dinner and couldn’t even have a birthday dessert because it was so late we didn’t have time and we had to go. I didn’t even get to finish my dinner. I had to box it up and take it home. this place is not the greatest If you have babies that have a specific bedtime, they need to be home for. the place is absolutely beautiful and the service was nice. But we will probably not be coming back if it takes that long to get our dinner :(.

4 adults went for lunch on Mother's day. We had a reservation but there was plenty of seating. Wait staff was great. We sat on the upstairs covered porch across from the river. 2 ordered the hot lobster roll with a salad. Very good. I recommend the house salad with house vinaigrette. 2 ordered the "lobster stew" which I think was a special for mother's day. We also ordered side house salads. The lobster "stew" was essentially a bisque with nice lobster pieces and a small puff pastry lobster floating on top. It was listed under "cauldron " with the soups but at 28.00 we expected it to be far more substantial. We would not have ordered it as a main if it had been listed as a soup or bisque. It was also a bit on the salty side. I could have used a dinner roll on the side. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was amazing. The raspberry sauce was perfect with the dense chocolate cake. Very nice location. Sit outside or on the upstairs porch. The lower level porch is on the street level so the river view will not be as wonderful as up top. Service: 4

This place is fantastic! From the rustic look, to the warm fire and good food. I had the lobster bisque along with my friend. It was rich and creamy, loaded with lobster. The best part was the puff pastry that was on top when they served it. It was actually in the shape of a lobster! (I should have taken a picture. Maybe next time). I highly recommend the Riegelsville Inn. You won't be disappointed. Service: 5

Hey thanks GM — the Lobster Bisque is a restaurant fave! Glad to hear you enjoyed both the flavor and the puff design. See you again soon!
