For a restaurant that serves a chicken and avocado salad, we asked if it would be possible to add chicken to the Caesar salad. The request was immediately shut down with an abrupt “no.” It’s not exactly an unreasonable request, but there was little effort to be hospitable with regards to the questions we asked about the salad.
