First time trying beef tounge as it's the local speciality I wanted to try. Tried to go to 2 other places before hand which had very long lines so settled on eating here and oh boy I was impressed. I went in with 0 expectations so I think that heightened my experience. There was only a 2 minute wait and we were seated instantly. The atmosphere in the sunken lounge area in the back is really nice. The beef tounge grilled pieces stand alone and beef curry were my favourite, the beef melted in your mouth as you at each piece. I dined with 1 other person we got 2 beers and 2 lemon sours and the meal still came to around 8000 yen. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It’s a well-known chain restaurant, and there are a lot of branches in this area. I’m not actually a big fan of beef tongue, but since I’m in Sendai, it would feel kind of strange not to try it. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
