A pleasantly unexpected find! The place is inside a gas station and, at first, you wouldn't expect the amazing food they actually have here. I've tested several of their offerings and was never disappointed: samosas are amazing, chicken is great, and other items were tasty too! Service is very friendly and usually decently fast. It's my favourite stop now when I'm in the area. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4

My daughter and I are always on the prowl for a good burger. We love to try homemade burgers from different privately owned restaurants. I had seen the homade burger and fries deal sign outside Rimssie's, having driven by it a few times. $9.99 homade burger and fries. So last saturday we went to Rimssies take out. My daughter and I both had the burger and fries deal. She's a burger connoisseur at 13 years old and liked both the homade fries and burger so much that she said "this is one of our places now". I myself was very impressed with the unique flavour of the burger patty. I can not compare this burger to any other restaurants because the flavour here is not like others. The paty has a Mediterranean grill type of flavour going on. And apperantly the burger meat is prepared and seasoned by the owners wife whom is vegetarian. This woman makes great food. The beef is very lean and the patty is very thick, heavy (at least a quarter poind) and not greasy at all. I recommend condiments and dressings that add moisture as the patty is very lean and not greasy. This is one tasty burger. The fries are fresh cut and completely satisfying. The serving size was very pleasing, neither my daughter nor I could finish our burger and fries and we had skipped breakfast. I snacked on my leftovers without reheating and it was as tasty cool as it was hot. My daughter snacked on hers even later on and again complimented the food. They also make homade breakfast sandwiches and Somosas amongst having an Indian hot plate of various dishes. 10 dollars spent here on burger and fries satisfies us much more than most anywhere else. The service was friendly and quick as well. I've also had samosa from Rimssie's and can tell you they are very tasty. As for other menu items, I have not yet had the pleasure to try yet. But will review again when we do. So if you're traveling north on highway 10, just south of king is a Shell gas station with this little gem of a takeout restaurant. We do highly recommend Rimssie's and we will be back for their burgers again.
