The service was excellent, the atmosphere cozy, and the food absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a homely, traditional style of cuisine, this is the perfect place. We tried the tonkatsu and the deep-fried shrimp, served with rice and miso soup; everything was amazing. One of the best meals we had in Japan. The two older cooks were incredibly kind and charming!! After a tiring day exploring Fushimi-Ku with my wife and three kids, Rindou Kyoto was a godsend. This cozy, family-run spot, lovingly managed by an elderly father and his daughter, felt like home. Despite our limited Japanese, the English-translated menu made ordering easy. The food, cooked fresh in front of us, was steaming hot—soups and dishes that warmed us up. Hot towels were a nice touch to refresh. Their warm hospitality made our family feel so welcome. Highly recommend this gem for delicious, heartfelt meals!
