Unfortunately in London there is a lot of opporrunity thieves. You left the bag unattended at a table by the door, which proved tempting for a passerby. We regret this has happened, and encourage customers to keep an eye on their belongings. The barman at the time was on his own and therefore could not leave the bar to check the cctv. I find the 'nice little earner for him' to be a highly offensive and condescending accusation towards one of my team. If the barman had been able to check the cctv, I doubt that would get your bag back as the offender would have quickly left I would assume. I hope you reported this to the authorities. Thank you for bringing this up, so other people can be aware of the importance of looking after their possessions. Regards JulieMore
