There were four of us and we had dinner at Ristorante Ferrari. There were no complaints about the food or service until we received the bill. Additional plates were served for starters and main courses. These were shown on the invoice with a surcharge of €8. With a total turnover of €140 and no advance information about the “plate fee”, there was a bitter aftertaste at the end of the evening. As a result, further visits that had taken place regularly until this incident will not take place. Unfortunately, incidents of this kind are now more common in the catering industry and do not represent a positive development.
