Last week we had the pleasure of visiting Ristorante Isole di Brissago and were impressed by the quality of the food and the exclusive ambiance. The atmosphere upon entering the restaurant was wonderful and we were looking forward to a culinary experience. However, we also have to mention some less positive points in terms of service. Despite the small number of guests, the waiting time before the order was accepted was unusually long. We had to ask several times before the waiter finally took our order, which spoiled our anticipation a bit. Unfortunately, our anticipation was further dampened when our meals were served and cutlery was missing. We had to point this out to the waiter again. What was even more annoying was that the waiter first tried to collect from the neighboring table instead of taking care of our missing cutlery. This unprofessional act did not match the overall feel of the restaurant. Another issue was that unused glasses were simply moved from a table to a table not yet in use, spoiling the pleasant atmosphere. Despite these negative aspects, we would like to emphasize that the food at this restaurant is really excellent and it has great potential. With improvements in customer service, Ristorante Isole di Brissago could offer a truly premium experience. We hope that the restaurant will work on these weaknesses in the future.
