My husband, 15 month old, and I ate here before we had to get on the ferry to leave. We got the catch of the day which was baked Orata with potatoes, tomatoes, and olives. It was the best fish we had the whole trip. The owner and staff were very kind and interacted with our son a lot which he loves. da Gianni is our absolute favourite restaurant in Portoferraio ! We cannot get beautiful seafood like this in Australia. We are always made to feel like we are so special.. Food is amazing, the attention we receive is amazing and genuine.. I cannot recommend highly enough ! A truly authentic,professionally managed Restaurant with great character and feel ! A real gem ! The food was good, but the service was even better! Marco had the whole restaurant laughing! He was attentive and had a great sense of humor. The real star of the show is the tiramisu, though.
