Summary- Great place for lunch. Set menu. Fast, friendly service. Details- You can order from the menu or have the set menu. I had pork with spaghetti. My wife had chicken legs with sweet potatoes fries. All was good. The chicken was our favorite. Also, the sweet potato fries were excellent. Best we had on the island. Outdoor seating only. It can be warm if there is no breeze. Two toilets. English spoken. Credit cards accepted. Price per person: CLP 10–15K Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We just arrived on Rapa Nui and after getting settled in our room, we were looking for a late lunch. This place was a amazing! Rita Mata is exactly what I had imagined a tropical restaurant in the middle of the south pacific would be like. Our female server was an absolute delight, gracious and hospitable, her service set the scene for the remainder of our stay. We had two local beers homemade lemonade (was more like limeade), a bottle of water, the Rapanui Ceviche, and the Rito Mata sandwich with fish. Portions were huge!! Flavors, outstanding, and the drinks refreshing. Job well done! Five stars all the way Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CLP 10–15K Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
