We were really disappointed with our experience, especially given the number of positive reviews, which now seem questionable. We ordered two starters and a mixed grill. Unfortunately, the main dish arrived cold, watery, and missing items that were clearly listed on the menu, including bread and salad. To make matters worse, there was a piece of plastic in the rice. The food tasted like it had been microwaved rather than freshly grilled, and it bore no resemblance to authentic Persian cuisine. To their credit, the staff offered a £10 discount to compensate for the missing items and the plastic, and while mistakes can happen, the overall quality of the food and cooking was far below acceptable standards. This restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in all of Yorkshire. The food is absolutely amazing. We’ve tried koubideh and joojeh, and the creamy soup is just the most beautiful flavor of my hometown, Tabriz. :) It’s an extra addition to this perfect restaurant.
