this place is exactly as it's described...a total dive typical bar food...fried stuff like fingers n onion rings were decent (obviously frozen) the clams are the best! garlic bread is terrible and burgers weren't great the slow, lack of service isn't due to anything other than the place is busy! we were at a table but forced to get up and order from the bartender the martinis are quite good and the LIIT was deeelish it's noisy but not smelly like others wrote. expect a dive bar all around there's outdoor seating too Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Been coming to the dive for years. It’s a gem in Cranford, it’s a dive bar so order your drinks and food with the bartenders (NO TABLE SERVICE). If you’re here past 2 AM and making noise, they’ll tell you to leave. Food service ends at 9:30 PM so order before then The staff will treat you with respect if you follow the only bar rule “don’t be a jerkoff” Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An employee named John is the nicest person we've ever met when magnet fishing the river next to riverside inn bar. He came over and asked what we were doing and we explained to him that magnet fishing is when you pull up magnetic trash from the rivers. He gave us a couple snacks and drinks and I quote him: “We love what you’re doing” -John. He’s a magnificent employee and deserves recognition. Thanks a lot John, and we’ll continue to do everything we can to clean up the river next to riverside inn bar!!
