We came here for early dinner on a Friday. Since it was early and rather hot, the place was not yet packed. We easily found a table outside and sat down. Somehow we got overlooked by the staff and had to wait to receive a menu, which led to having to wait until people that had arrived after us had already received their food. Seating outside is of course prone to second hand smoke - unfortunately two smokers sat down right next to us even though the place was not remotely full. This could fortunately be remedied by moving tables. It really makes me long for Swedish levels of protection from cigarette smoke! The menu is not overly extensive, but there are several solid options available. The Sauerfleisch was well suited to such a warm day. The roast beef was in my opinion overcooked and should be served more pink instead of fully grey. This made for a rather chewy texture. The Bratkartoffeln were meh - not crispy enough by far. There was a small salad garnish with the food, but it didn’t have any dressing, so I didn’t want to eat it. Overall this is a nice spot, especially with the scenery. The food is good, but not excellent. I would come back and try more of the menus items. We enjoyed lunch outside by the water. Service was a bit slow but we were there for an early lunch on a weekday. I'm sure they have minimal staff at that time. Staff that assisted us were very pleasant. We enjoyed the food and everything was fresh and well prepared. The inside looked like a lovely space also, very clean. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
