Stopped in for a late lunch with friends on a Friday afternoon. I’m not a big seafood fan, but I love the water. Just looking at it makes me happy. This restaurant is right on the river. We sat out on the deck. So calm and peaceful. Our server was bubbly, sweet & attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu & made some good recommendations. I had the catfish w/ fries, along with the spicy cheese curds and bacon & cheesy grit balls. Yummy! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Riverview Restaurant & Marina gets 5 stars from me for one reason.... Broiled Catfish! No question, they have the best in the Nashville area. I go here at least once a week just to get broiled catfish with green beans and hush puppies (also both excellent). True, the menu is otherwise fairly limited and some of the items are there to appeal to tourists, but that's not the point. Any place that can consistently have one entree that is hands down the best in town gets 5 stars from me. Riverview also has a couple of home made deserts when in season. The Pumpkin pie is especially awesome. Be sure to get window table. The view of the Cumberland river truly lives up to the Restaurant's name...
