After a long exploration of the Acropolis we stopped at Rizos for some food and drinks. A quiet little restaurant just set back from the main walk up the hill we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly and very attentive. It was so good we came back the next day for dinner. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful food and absolutely wonderful people. They are very busy and looks like a small crew, so do be patient with them. Our host was most pleasant and welcoming. I ordered a yogurt beef kebab, and it is one of the best I have had. The roast chicken as well was a really massive and generous portion, and very good indeed. The fresh bread is fluffy and delicious, especially with homemade tarama. We had such an excellent and relaxing lunch experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful experience here at Rizos Athens. Amazing hosting from very experienced staff as well as great food. I’ve been here a handful of times and everything I’ve tried from the menu has been amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–15
