The view from Roast Restaurant in Darband was absolutely beautiful, definitely the best part of the visit. However, the food was disappointing. The koobideh kebab was overly salty and had an unusual taste, almost like it was mixed with liver. The saffron chicken (joojeh zaffarani) was bland and lacked any real flavour. I was also served water in a chipped glass, but when I pointed it out, the waiter kindly replaced it right away. The staff were respectful, and one of them even came over to check on the food, but I didn’t feel comfortable saying it wasn’t good. Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn’t match the view or the service, and I wouldn’t choose to return. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: IRR 4.5–5m
