In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Museum of Gems and Jewellery, stop by this restaurant. The recipe for success of Roast & Co. is its good roasted chicken, Baked potatoes and salads. It's nice to taste delicious wine.

The pricing on the chickens can be a bit steep when compared to what you’d get a Woolworths. But the atmosphere and the quality is top notch so it breaks even. The restaurant is part of two which share the same space. While it’s neighbor HQ sells a simple steak dinner only.The meal concepts are both are very simple. You order your chicken 1/4 1/2 or whole with a variety of sauces and sides to choose from. There are starters and deserts as well.

Great location, but can get incredibly rowdy when millenials had a drink or two too many and not ate properly, picking away at their food as they are watching their figures. Be prepared to see your table drowned by inconsiderate selfie obsessed posers. Left after 1 drink.

We had a wonderful time at Roast & Co. It is a great spot for a nice lunch with colleagues or friends, in the middle of town. At night the food is still just as good, but the vibe is completely different with the sister restaurant right next door and with the same shared courtyard. Highly recommend.
