I'm not a regular, mainly because it's full. It's not a big cafe 16 people will fill it. The food however is very good, though it's not a budget cafe. There is a good selection of sandwiches and other options. The sausage rolls and pies are meals in themselves. Coffee is good but perhaps a bit bitter for my taste. Happy go back, if I can get in. I already left a review last year, but honestly felt it didn’t fully capture my appreciation - so here I am again to do it properly. Roasted has single-handedly become responsible for my emotional stability. The team are ridiculously friendly - the dangerous kind of friendly where you go in “just for a quick coffee” and somehow leave happier, caffeinated, and considering a cinnamon bun you absolutely did not plan for (they have them ALL YEAR which feels both generous and personally threatening). Their chai lattes are elite and have me in a firm routine of “I deserve a wee treat” several times a week. Summer means iced tea season, which is equally outstanding and dangerously refreshing. And the Reuben sandwich? Life-changing. I think about it when I’m not there. I miss it when I leave. Huge thanks to the whole team - and Theo - for keeping me fed, hydrated, and emotionally supported via baked goods and caffeine. 10/10, no notes.
