Nice spot to have a drink but the food was less than appetising. Pulled pork tacos were bland and watery. Friends nachos were equally as unappetising. This could be a great local eatery however the food needs to be improved. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $20–40

Update;. I received a call from owner Ryan in the days following the below review and, full credit, I cannot fault the messaging from him. He advised this was absolutely not the standard, or level of customer service he strives to achieve, was most apologetic and subsequently provided a gift voucher as compensation. Whilst the experience prior to Ryan’s involvement was what it was, Ryan’s commitment to recovering goodwill should be recognised. Based on Ryan’s advice, I think it unlikely future customers will receive the same experience and have subsequently updated the review ratings to reflect the quantum of the interaction. Original text below: Made a booking over a week out to visit Rocky Ridge Duncraig on a Sunday at 4:45pm as we had friends visiting from the east. We have previously enjoyed the place as, admittedly, the beers are OK and the food passable, if not expensive. If you can believe it, the day before our booking I get a text message telling us 'we'll be closing early when you're here for a staff function. You'll have 15 minutes before the kitchen closes and 45 minutes until the bar closes.' I rang them, assuming a stuff up and they had the wrong date, or maybe even a joke (who knows, they couldn't seriously be stuffing customers around at the last minute so the crew can get on it…..) and, no, the message was legit. The chick on the phone justified it as "we haven't had a staff function for over 7 months.". I questioned if it was normal for them to fail to plan ahead like this and to disregard their customers so egregiously. “Our head chef is leaving at the last minute……..” was offered up and seriously, could not have given a stuff. lol. This would have to be possibly the most rank disregard for customers I’ve experienced and demonstrates the ridiculous level to which customer service in the hospitality industry has dropped in Perth. Rocky Ridge, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $1–20
