(Visited October 1, 2026) We weren't really expecting much as we just wanted a snack before going to see an exhibit at the museum, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food ended up being delicious! They have an assortment of cinnamon rolls that aren't too sweet nor too bland (as is common in Japan). They also had some traditional Japanese sweet sets that were very tasty. In addition, the coffee was strong and flavorful, not the usual weak blends you will get. The dishes are prepared once you order, so it takes a little bit of time but it is well worth the wait. You can sit and look out at the Nagano mountains through the huge glass paned walls and enjoy the view while staying cozy inside. The food presentation itself is more of a work of art than your standard cafe fair. The proprietor took her time to present an aesthetically appealing as well as taste-bud pleasing creation. The whole experience was wonderful, relaxing, and I hope to visit again the next time we decide to explore another exhibition.
