There's something special about watching the chef run back to whip fresh cream for each order. The cream puff at ¥160 is a steal for made to order quality. The ones in your box look perfectly golden with generous custard and cream filling. The awards on the wall suggest this is a well established local institution. Interesting that the wife enforces the no eating inside rule. Probably keeps the two person operation manageable, but clearly worth the slight inconvenience for that freshness.
