The staff was great The beer was good The atmosphere was pleasant unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Flavors were all over the place and our pizzas were burnt. Rolling Oven Taproom... what a love/hate relationship so many of us locals have with you. The atmosphere is cool. They play good music, have various game nights, live music nights, and more. For a small town like ours, having a spot like this is great. Plus, dogs are welcome on the patio, making it a fantastic place to stop after hanging out at the park down the road. The food is fine—not bad, not great. It’s something to accompany their wonderful selection of beers and ciders, and you’re not going to hate it. The drinks are really where Rolling Oven shines, and who can blame them? They are a taproom, after all. Try everything; it’s all worth it. But, oh, that service. Sigh. Rolling Oven, I am begging you: find some people who actually want to be there and know how to turn tables. During the slow times, the service is going to be slow. During the busy times, good luck with your server even remembering you’re there. The number of times we’ve gotten up and left after 30 minutes of no one coming to take our order has been enough to keep us away if we see more than three outdoor tables taken. On the plus side, most of the time, the staff isn’t rude. They just seem overwhelmed by the crowds or by trying to juggle call-in orders alongside dine-in customers. With a better system in place, this could easily be a 5-star experience. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
