Romantica is located in a truly characteristic and charming part of the city, which sets the tone for a memorable experience. The interiors are, to say the least, stunning—elegant, atmospheric, and full of character. The staff is absolutely exquisite: kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. I started with a cacio e pepe arancino—an original and very interesting twist on a Roman classic—followed by fettuccine al ragù romano, a type of ragù I had never tried before, deeply flavorful and satisfying. I also enjoyed a tagliata. For dessert, I had their homemade cheesecake, presented with a berry topping. I paired it with a glass of Amaretto di Saronno, which rounded off the meal perfectly. The evening went by pleasantly, even with just a couple of beers. Romantica is truly a place to remember, and one I will return to next time I’m in Rome.
