I’d been trying to get out to this place since I had heard of it from a friend, and man was it my loss for not going sooner than I did. My family is really big on sushi and we have made our stops in most of the other sushi restaurants in Bend but this food truck produces some of the best sushi we’ve ever had... ever. It’s obvious that the young men in this truck have had some serious training and are very talented. Very rarely do we not have to use some sort of seasoning or wasabi when eating sushi, but Ronin has the ability to make all of the dishes we had were perfectly balanced, seasoned where nothing else was needed. It was amazing. They even have an very delicious Kobe beef hotdog. Ronin once again puts it own unique twist on it to make it a one of a kind. Sashimi was skillfully cut with its own vibrant colors and mix of Thai chili and pickled mustard seed. The omakase roll was custom made with a quick check of any allergies and preferences, but I let it up to them. The topper was the bacon vinaigrette.... so well thought out. So I’m letting you know that if you want the best sushi in central Oregon, it’s at The Bite. Find a cool little bus with Ronin on the side of it. You won’t regret it.
