Usually we love eating at the Brewery here in Portales, but this time we had done a take out order, waited 40 minutes, and got this in return. If we would've known this is what we were going to get for 15 dollars, we would have gone somewhere else.

This place use to be so good. So sad to see it go downhill. The food was AWFUL. We ordered burgers and they were completely burnt, it was straight charcoal. My family and I will NOT be back here..

My motto in life is, "there is never too much cheese." Roosevelt Brewing Company is the first restaurant I have ever been to that has risen to the occasion to try and match my passion for the good stuff. They have a decent beer list and have Sandia Ciders for those who aren't necessarily into craft beers, or people who can't say no to a watermelon sensation in the summer. Their menu is basic, in that it's basically fries, salad, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. They also had a really fabulous light looking "summer snack platter" on the menu which was a nice little charcuterie board. I'm a monster and decided the only meal I deserved was one entirely covered in cheese. We started off with some queso fries, and the only way I can describe the experience is in the words of the Blood Hound Gang, "I want fries smothered want fries covered like my Roosevelt Brewing's queso Fries." For our entree we got a 12" the shroomer and a 12" NM Philly cheesesteak pie. I really can't say that mentally I regretted the decision, but I can for sure say that after cramming myself with as much pizza as I physically could my stomach was not a happy camper. 10/10 I do not regret the decision. Each pizza was a unique blend of flavor. The shroomer had a wonderful amount of garlic and an event better amount of cheese while having really lovely flavorful bites of mushrooms without being overwhelming. The NM Philly was a next level pizza in like a disgustingly stupid kind of way. The amount of cheese on this pizza was insane, it was literally a Philly cheesesteak with a thin crust instead of bread. I was enamored, I couldn't talk, I couldn't breath, my taste buds were exploding, but it also was one of the richest pieces of pizza I have ever eaten and had to stop after one and a half slices. The quality of their pizza is top notch and you can tell that good fresh ingredients go into their pies which makes their prices pretty reasonable. Overall, it was a great meal, in a great atmosphere, with a really great amount of cheese.
