Excellent locally sourced food. I had the Pork Cuban Panini and my wife had the Turkey Cherry Panini. Both sandwiches were freshly prepared and the taste was excellent! We also had a very freshly baked pastry that was so good! Our Air BNB host reccomended this cafe. In a nice small town fairly close to Saugatuck. Worth the drive. From 2023: Things that make no damn sense: In this small Michigan town, and at the recommendation of a local inn, I order a panini and a cherry spritzer from this place . I should have gone with my regular red wine, but I’m trying to be open. The cashier (there’s no waitress) hands me what tastes like cough syrup. I ask her if I can just switch it out for wine. She asks what I assume is her manager, who says no. I ask to speak with said manager. She appears and says, “I know exactly why it tastes like cough syrup. It has too much cherry liquor (licor?) in it.” Three times she returns with the drink, having placed more Prosecco in it and even switched glasses, now with twice as much liquid as before. The third time I give up and just decide that I made a bad choice with a bad business. The one star is for half panini, which was good, though I specifically asked that the roasted onions be left off. (I could have sent it back, but I didn’t want to contribute to the waste.) Wouldn’t it have been easier and cheaper to just replace the cough syrup with the house wine? Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
