As a foreigner visiting taipei for the first time, I was looking for a good vegan restaurant. I must say that The Root kitchen surpassed my expectations! From getting a menu in English, explaining about the dishes, making sure the order was to my preferences, presentation, serving with warmth and checking in that I was comfortable through out the experience, Hao and Qing made sure I had a memorable time.
