Great cafe/ bar that is licensed. The seating area is quite small inside, but outside, there are more tables with lovely views of the sea. The food is excellent, as is the staff who are friendly and efficient. Very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit if in the Maidens area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Soup & Bread, Sandwich

It was a horrible wet and windy day and we need to get out inside. That’s when we stumbled across Ropes bistro, what a lovely place to step into. Instantly, you were greeted by a nice friendly face, shown to a seat, and given a menu. All of us had drinks and it’s of us commented on how nice Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited Ropes at the weekend. Soup and sandwich were delicious and very reasonable priced. The view over Maidens beach was fantastic. I also enjoyed a cocktail I really enjoyed.
