This is exactly the type of place I look for when I travel. Simple food, great ingredients, experienced and nice people, genuine atmosphere. After visiting the Nanzenji temple and heading toward the Eikando temple, we were hungry and searching for something quick for lunch. And we were so lucky to find Rorian! The ramen was the best I have ever had (amazing soy broth, excellent pork slices) and the yakisoba was incredibly tasty. We also had a nice matcha ice cream to finish our incredibly cheap lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough and I really hope I make it back one day. Thank you so much to the cute couple that cooked and served our lunch. I wish you all the best!
