Was looking forward to our stay at the Rose and Crown but was extremely disappointed. The bar closes at 7pm on a Sunday night and no food is available. Fortunately there was other restaurants nearby. The room was adequate but the plumbing system left a lot to be desired. No water in our room on Sunday night and a trickle of a shower on Monday morning. Don't believe that the staff are unaware of the problem as there is clearly no water pressure in the upstairs rooms. Lastly if you want quiet room do not pick this hotel as on the flight path of Manchester Airport. The TV goes off when a plane flies over. Disappointing stay will not be retuning. Service: 2

Rose & Crown Inn is right in the middle of town. The location is excellent. The building and pub/restaurant are charming. The food is way above average for an English town. The service level is naturally friendly. It is conveniently located near the Manchester airport. The town (Knutsford) is charming. So if you are a business traveller on the go and tired of charmless hotels; the Rose & Crown Inn will be a welcome change.
