We came here for a late breakfast with our family, 3 kids and a baby. In the first minute, while standing at the “please wait to be seated sign” , we were barked at and spoken to rudely by who I think is the owner, to move out of the way with our pram. No accomodation was made to sit inside even though there were tables available, so we sat outside in the cold. Eventually we asked a waitress to find us a table and we moved inside. 20 min in, our child was unsettled and making some noise, so while trying to get him out of his chair and settle him, the same owner came and asked us to take him outside, literally while we were settling him. The food was average and portions are small. We paid $120 to have an average breakfast, made to feel unwelcome and spoken to rudely. In an area littered with great breakfast options, the Old Rosebud would be my absolute last choice. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Mina! Thanks for stopping by! We love welcoming families. As we mentioned when you came in, every table inside was full so we asked if you'd be ok to sit outside - you said yes and asked that we let you know when a table became free inside - which we did, then your family moved inside. When your child was screaming loudly for around 10 mins and we had other guests complaining that it was hurting their ears we simply asked if you would be open to taking the one child outside to walk him around until he settles and then come back in. Sadly you didn't enjoy Rosebud but we wish you all the best! Rosebud Team

Really cute cafe, on Darling st in Rozelle. Good vibes, and good food - tried their Kofte Platter (halal beef) with coffee, it was amazing. For Platter size and quantity, it was just perfect for me (one person); not less, not too much, just right Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: yes Dietary restrictions: Halal and Vegetarian options available
