I’ve been Rosemeyer BBQ for a couple years now, and every time I leave I say to myself “you can’t get any better than that!” But then the next time I go, they prove me wrong. Ben and Jordan keep getting better and better at their craft. They offer traditional Texas bbq that has some razzle and dazzle that you won’t find anywhere else. The fideo side dish is truly a flavor explosion in your mouth. I can’t wait til next time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very tasty brisket and Oaxaca sausage! Potato salad was good. Didn’t like the Mac and cheese. I got the old fashioned ice cream and it was way too sweet and had the taste of the smoked meats attached to it which sucked. Price per person: $40–50

I'll explain Pros: Free beer, mac & cheese, boudin, pork ribs, pork burnt ends, & potato salad and friendly staff. Cons: Brisket was meh, sausage was ok, pulled pork was flat, and chicken wings that were dry. Details of my experience:. Got in line around 11:00am, wasn't too long (maybe 15 people ahead) and I didn't order until 12:40pm. Needless to say the line moves SLOW, seems like speed wasn't a priority. We ordered a bit of everything, and expected half chicken(as the menu lists) and instead got some dry wings. Wasn't informed of the change or if just a error. We had 8 sides, and they also didn't give us 2 of the cream of corn, again not communicated or not sure if error. Ended up with 2 extra potato salad (which is good, but didn't' get to try the corn). We ordered 2 of the Bit of everything, 1 extra rack of ribs, and extra lb. of brisket. Each sampler is meant to serve 5-7 people. When we started unpacking we counted only 6 slices of bread for 10-14 people, so.... that was a let down. Plus only 6 tiny containers of BBQ sauces. So $400+ later I wasn't too thrilled. Maybe take out was the wrong move or just a fluke. Last one, the forced service fee is a tough one for me. I say either adjust the prices or let people tip if they want. I spent $40 on a fee to stand in line and get my food. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $40–50
