Alt Tegel is a must to visit after wonderful meals at this cafe. Carpe diem – the German cuisine waits for you. At Konditorei Röttgen, visitors can try tasty bacon. Do not leave without enjoying nicely cooked berliner and good marzipan. A lot of visitors order great coffee. Clients don't highly appreciate rum at this place.

On our way to Lake Tegel, we discovered this patisserie that advertised homemade cakes, and it looked very cozy from the outside. When we returned to the car, we didn't forget about it and decided to go in. It was quite empty, but the cakes looked very inviting, making it genuinely hard to choose. Two out of three were fine, but unfortunately the cheesecake was at room temperature - on such a hot day, it would have been nicer if it had been chilled like the other cakes. The cappuccino tasted rather harsh, with more milk than coffee. The patisserie was not soooo bad, but I won't give it another try.
