In all my years I haven't written a single review. With yesterday's order from Route 66 Pelkum I realized: It's about time! We've been ordering Pelkum from Route 66 for a while now. Even if we only order irregularly and on certain occasions, I would describe us as loyal and long-term customers. The decision-making process when ordering a Route 66 always brings back memories of character creation in Skyrim. All options are weighed up, different play styles are considered, but in the end you choose the Stealth Archer every time. Accordingly, we take our time, study the menu carefully and, as always, ultimately decide on the so-called 2XL Bacon Cheese Smash Burger in the 250g Angus Beef Patty version. Delivery takes place in a reasonable time and the friendly delivery person leaves a positive impression. The considerable weight of the delivery is immediately noticeable upon receipt of the polystyrene rigid foam heat containers and suggests: We are dealing with magnificent specimens here. This assumption is more than confirmed when you open the container: the handmade, aromatic bread is fluffy and yet slightly crispy on the surface. The obviously fresh lettuce leaf and tomato literally shine at us in a colorful way. The perfectly seared burger patties from regional production, the bacon and the (presumably) homemade burger sauce spread the delicious smell of roasted aromas and a pleasant seasoning throughout the room. The delight of the 2XL Bacon Cheese Smash Burger in the 250g Angus Beef Patty variant is an experience that will be remembered. In addition to the harmonious interaction of the fresh ingredients, the impressive but manageable size as well as the satisfying beef to bread ratio contribute to this. After the burgers have been eaten, we lie contentedly on the couch and on the floor. We spend the next 90 minutes philosophizing about this culinary burger experience. My buddy is about to express his thanks and appreciation to Route 66 Pelkum by phone. Since we ultimately decided against calling, I would like to at least use this review to express my sincere thanks and praise to the entire Route 66 Pelkum team. There is no soulless fast food without identity here, but authentic burgers that make you happy. I remain with kind regards and wish you happy holidays and a happy new year. Service: Delivery
